This 12-night British Isles cruise explores the northern and western coastlines of the UK and Ireland, combining island communities, historic ports and changing coastal landscapes. Sailing through Scotland, England and Ireland, the itinerary includes Invergordon, Lerwick (Shetland Isles), Kirkwall (Orkney Isles), Stornoway (Isle of Lewis), Liverpool, Cobh, and St Mary’s in the Isles of Scilly.

Discover Highland scenery and legendary lochs from Invergordon and experience Norse and prehistoric heritage in Orkney. The journey continues through historic maritime cities and colourful harbours, before ending in the peaceful Isles of Scilly, known for their mild climate, beaches and natural beauty.

This cruise offers a rich and varied exploration of the British Isles, blending history, culture and coastal scenery at a relaxed and rewarding pace.

We are thrilled to announce a new partnership with Ambassador Cruise Line, featuring their Ambition and Ambience ships. Our journey begins with a springtime cruise to Norway in March 2027. This bridge cruise is nearly fully booked, but we are working diligently to add more trips and aim to offer three in 2027, four in 2028, and hopefully five in 2029.

We have secured exclusive access to the bridge rooms for our private bridge sessions, which will be facilitated by our own experienced directors and holiday hosts. You won’t need to accommodate other players on the ship, and participation is limited to those who book this cruise directly with us. Lerwick
Lerwick feels shaped by sea and sky, where stone buildings, narrow lanes and a busy harbour reflect centuries of life at the edge of Britain. From here, there’s time to explore the town’s maritime history, browse local shops, or walk along the waterfront as fishing boats come and go. Beyond the town, the Shetland landscape opens out into wide moorland, dramatic cliffs and quiet beaches where seabirds gather. Norse heritage still runs deep here, felt in place names, traditions and stories. Lerwick offers a strong sense of place - remote, resilient and quietly captivating.

Stornoway
Perched on the wild edge of the Outer Hebrides, Stornoway blends rugged beauty with deep Gaelic roots. Discover the mysterious Callanish Standing Stones, older than the pyramids, or explore the stately Lews Castle and its woodland grounds. Watch skilled weavers craft Harris Tweed by hand, and stroll quiet harbours where time slows to the rhythm of the sea. Remote yet richly alive, Stornoway is Scotland in its rawest, most resonant form.

St Mary’s
A world apart just off the Cornish coast, St Mary’s is the largest of the Isles of Scilly - a place of quiet lanes, golden beaches and soft sea breezes. Walk the historic Garrison Walls, explore the treasures of the Isles of Scilly Museum, or take a boat trip to nearby islands teeming with seabirds and wildflowers. Enjoy the subtropical gardens, scenic coastal paths and gentle pace of island life. This is England, softened by sea and sky.
