Your private group transfer will take you directly to the hotel, we do not mix transfers for different flights so we can get you to the hotel as quickly as possible.

Please make sure you have a copy of your transfer voucher with you as you will be asked for this.

REUS AIRPORT TRANSFERS

Your driver will be waiting at the arrivals gate / in the arrivals lounge with a sign showing the lead passenger's name GEBOS number or a Suntransfers sign. You may be requested to show your airline boarding pass and provide the driver copy of this voucher. If you are held up collecting your luggage, please send one of your group to locate the driver, as he / she may not be aware that your group has arrived.

BARCELONA AIRPORT TRANSFERS

Once your flight has arrived and you have picked up your luggage, please head to the designated meeting point based on your Terminal as indicated below where a representative wearing a blue turquoise t-shirt with the “Transfers” logo will be waiting with a sign displaying your GEBOS number. Once you meet our representative, your driver will be promptly informed of your arrival. Please be aware that, given the complexity of Barcelona Airport, it might take some time for the driver to reach you.

Terminal 1 - When entering the arrivals hall, please turn right and head towards the tourist information desk. Our representative will be just a few meters from the arrivals hall customs control door.

Terminals 2:

Due to extended wait times to get through passport control, you may experience a longer than usual delay. If your delay is

approaching 45 minutes or more, please call the number on your voucher directly. We will endeavour to adjust your pick up time

This holiday is sold out and we should have up to 11 tables in play.

Please let us know if you are interested in the opera evening on Friday the 5th at 9.15pm, TRIBUTE TO THE THREE TENORS, as we will need to prebook the tickets asap.

The organised trip in to Lucca is on the Sunday the 7th and is included in the price of your holiday, the Opera is not and is 40 euros per person and you can pay this to the hotel directly after you arrive. We also hope to arrange lunch at Montecatini Alto on Wednesday the 10th, which is also at an extra cost.

AIRPORT TRANSFERS

These are private group transfers organised by the hotel, booked for each individual flight, and will take you directly to the hotel.

Your driver will meet you in the arrivals hall, holding a sign with Guaranteed Events logo as below.

Transfer Protocol

We will have posted transfer information to you and also by email, please make sure you bring a copy of the transfer voucher with you in case you are asked for it.

  • Your transfer will pick you up and take you directly to the hotel.

  • Once your flight has arrived and you have picked up your luggage, please proceed to the arrivals hall and desk or meeting point that has been given to you on the transfer voucher.

  • It is very important that you call the numbers provided if you cannot immediately find your driver upon arrival.

Wait time: The driver will wait up to 60 mins and monitor your flight for delays. If you are held up collecting your luggage, then you will need to call the driver to ask him to wait for you. If you do not follow these instructions, we cannot pay for an alternative taxi.

  • In the very unlikely event that you can not find your driver or the emergency contact number can not help then you can take a Taxi to the hotel and we will refund you. But you must first follow the above process.


 
 

Our overseas bridge holiday prices include private group transfers. Most of these transfers are currently booked with suntransfers and to date have proven to be the most reliable company to work with. They are not the cheapest and in fact they are at the moment one of the most expensive international transfer companies we have used.

We know how important it is that our customers are collected and taken to the airport and back again in an easy and efficient manner and we spare no expense in trying to do this.

We only book one vehicle for each flight, we do not mix flights as this can cause an issue if one flight is delayed.

We only book private transfers that take you directly from the named airport to the hotel with no other stops.

For return transfers back from the hotel to the airport we do mix up some departure flights but only if they are departing within 25 minutes for each other.

We only book these with the transfer companies recommended pick up times, in general this requires you to be at the airport between approx. two and three hours prior to your departure flight. Some may argue this is too early and some may say it's not enough time in the airport.
However we will not change this because if you miss your flight then we may well become liable for this and any extra costs incurred.

If you would like to make your own way to the hotel you can always opt out.

You do not have to use our transfer service and at the time of booking we will discount your holiday.

We do sometimes have issues with our transfer service and we always have done.

The way this industry works does not allow for an effective solution to the knock on effect of a driver being held up on an early trip. This can and does sometimes mean that drivers run late. A little bit like flights in the afternoon are more likely to be late than those in the morning.

We do try our best to make sure there is an easy to find meeting point at the airport and if this is not a manned desk then we always provide a phone number to call if the driver is not there to meet you. We also try to make sure we have a member of our bridge team staff at the hotel to see you off at the end of the holiday and that they are on hand if a driver runs late to pick you up.

Sadly this service we include, is not always 100% perfect but we continue to make every effort to offer the best transfer we can.

Some companies provide larger coach vehicles that will transport you at fixed times during the day and although this can prove to be more efficient it does mean many travellers have to wait a lot longer to get from A to B.

We do ask that our clients follow the protocol provided and should this fail we will always refund you if you need to pay for a taxi.
