All our fun and friendly bridge holidays are run by our experienced directors and two bridge playing holiday hosts. The average attendance is over nine tables for our UK Bridge Breaks. All our fun and friendly bridge holidays are run by our experienced directors and bridge playing holiday hosts. EBU master points are awarded for all applicable sessions, morning, afternoon or evening. Single travellers will be assured of a playing partner. Two bridge playing hosts as well as a experienced qualified director run our holidays and we provide bridge facilities which will include duplicate boards, electronic scoring, normally Bridgemates, bidding boxes and bridge each morning and a main evening session. We have a varied evening programme of mainly duplicate pairs. These are first and foremost friendly bridge holidays and there is no pressure on anyone and it is always your choice to play regardless of the programme. We now include trips/excursions, Golf and casual walks with many of our British bridge breaks. Our morning sessions start from 10.15am and evening bridge sessions usually start from 7.30pm, leaving time for you to look at the hand records whilst enjoying a drink in the bar afterwards. Scores will be uploaded to our Bridgewebs site normally within minutes of finishing​.​
HOLIDAY BRIDGE SCHEDULE
Check-In; Your holiday host will meet you at reception from 3.00pm
(We can make arrangements for an earlier check in time or pre-book lunch)
Welcome drinks reception from 5.45 pm in the Bridge Room
(Your Bridge Director and Host will introduce themselves, and will ensure single players have a partner)
Dinner is from 6.15/30 pm
(Buffet or three course evening meals are offered, with a choice of starter, main and desert, as well as vegetarian/vegan options available).
Please advise us at the time of booking of any special dietary requirements.
Welcome Pairs starts at 7.30/45 pm
(Evening session start promptly so that we have the option of a night cap in the bar after bridge)
FIRST FULL DAY

(Full English breakfast, normally buffet style can be enjoyed in your own good time)
Morning Bridge from 10.15 am
(Our Directors organise a morning session of bridge of no less than 14 to 16 boards, except departure day.
Dinner 6.15/45 pm
(Group dining is arranged each evening with a selection of table sizes in a section of the restaurant)
Evening Bridge 7.30/45 pm
(We aim to play between 21-27 boards in the evening sessions, and finish in good time to enjoy a drink at the hotel bar)

Prizes are presented on the Final Evening after bridge 10.30pm

Please note this is subject to changes at the Directors discretion. The evening bridge will be friendly duplicate. The morning bridge depends on numbers, pairs or teams may be played, Seminars are dependent on numbers and demand. We aim to play in the evening bridge sessions 21-27 boards & for morning sessions 14-16 boards.
