1 - PAYMENT TERMS & CANCELLATIONS

When a booking is made, the 'lead name' on the booking confirms that he or she is 17 or over and has the authority and accepts on behalf of the party the terms of these booking conditions on our web site or in the brochure and as confirmed in the pre-booking information. This confirmation will include any special requests we have agreed to. Your booking is not confirmed until your bank mandate or payment details have been received. Please check the confirmation carefully to ensure all the information is correct. You can contact us for further information or assistance if you have any questions. Please do not make any travel arrangements until your booking has been confirmed and that you do already have travel Insurance in place.

• A Deposit is required to secure your booking.

• Accommodation balance of payment will is required 28 days prior to the start of the holiday.

• On receipt of your booking form we will confirm all details, prices and any requests by email and phone and take the deposit that will secure your booking.

• We will then email you an invoice, terms and conditions and programme of events.

• Please do not book any travel/flights until your accommodation has been confirmed.

• You can cancel your booking without charge/penalty by giving just 29 days’ notice.

• If you cancel 28 to 15 days prior, you will be charged 25% of total cost

• If you cancel 14 to 8 days prior, you will be charged 50% of total cost

• If you cancel after this date you may be charged 100% of total cost

• We will always do our best to resell your booking.

• You can name change without charge up to the day before you are booked to arrive.

2 - TRANSFERRING YOUR BOOKING - NAME CHANGE

You can transfer your booking to somebody else, but the person must satisfy all the conditions of the holiday and you must inform us in writing, no less than 7 days before departure. Your cancellation will take effect from the date on which we receive your written confirmation of your cancellation.

3 - CHANGES TO YOUR HOLIDAY BY GE

We rarely need to make any changes to your holiday but, because our holidays are planned many months in advance, we sometimes do need to make minor changes. We reserve the right to do this at any time. We will let you know about any important changes as soon as possible, including the minimum number of players required for the holiday. If after booking, and before departure, we make a major change to your holiday, you will have the option of withdrawing from the holiday without penalty or transferring to another available holiday.

4 - OUR RESPONSIBILITY TO YOU

We accept responsibility for ensuring the holiday which you book with us is supplied as described in our publicity material and the services offered reach a reasonable standard. All our bridge holidays have experienced director and bridge playing holiday hosts. Single travellers will be assured of a playing partner, and we try to ensure the best partners for pairs and teams. Our commitment to you is to provide a qualified director, bridge facilities which may include duplicated boards, computer scoring, bidding boxes and at the least bridge, seminar or workshop each morning and a main evening session. EBU master points are awarded for all applicable morning, afternoon, and evening sessions. We have a varied evening programme of mainly duplicate pairs; however, it is always your choice to play regardless of the programme. This is first and foremost a friendly holiday bridge and there is no pressure on anyone. Our morning sessions start at 10.15am, afternoon sessions (where offered) from 3.00pm and evening bridge session usually starts no later than 7.30pm. 5 - HEALTH AND SAFETY

NO SMOKING is allowed in the bridge/games room, and this includes E-Cigarettes, neither do we allow pets or any other animals, but we do of course accommodate registered assistance dogs. Anyone clearly displaying cold, or flu symptoms will not be allowed in the bridge room. Anyone that is aware that they may have any contagious condition must not enter the bridge room and will be liable if they do.

6 - BRIDGE ROOM BEHAVIOUR

We want all our customers to have a happy, relaxed, and carefree holiday. You are responsible for your behaviour and hygiene and the effect it may have on others. If you or any other member of your party is abusive, disruptive or behaves in a way that could cause damage or injury to others or affect their enjoyment of their holiday or which could damage property, we have the right to ban you from the games room and for the hotel management to advise us on their protocols and we will have no further liability or obligation to you. We also request that mobile phones are not used on the bridge/games room apart for scoring and for exceptional circumstances. We retain the right to ban any one from our holidays if their behaviour is judged to negatively affect the rest of the group.

7 - GENERAL DATA PROTECTION REGULATIONS

We retain your full contact details and other information in secure files and electronic storage facilities. We may use this information to contact you by post, telephone, or email. If you do not wish to receive marketing information about our products and services, then please contact us. All electronic mail will have an easy opt out. We will only pass your information on to the relevant suppliers of your travel arrangements, and we take full responsibility for ensuring that proper measures are in place to protect this information. In making this booking, you consent to this information being passed on to the relevant persons or suppliers.
