We have used this hotel many times ​over the years and are now under new management that are looking forward to hosting our bridge groups ​once again. Improver Bridge Breaks

These holidays are focused on both learning and playing, in a friendly and social atmosphere and at a more relaxed pace. They will be run by experienced and friendly teachers. They are not designed for complete beginners or tournament bridge players. Rather, they are aimed at players who have been learning and playing for at least a yearand for players seeking to develop their skills and to gain confidence to play in competitive club duplicate sessions.

Morning sessions will begin with a seminar, introducing bidding and play techniques to improve your game.

Seminars will be followed with prepared hands to illustrate the seminar topic. Sometimes we will discuss the hands as a group and other times we will play the hands in a supervised session where you will be able to ask for help and guidance with both bidding and play.

One evening will be a Competition night run as a standard duplicate session. Other evenings will be either supervised or unsupervised bridge, depending on your confidence levels. We will tailor the holiday to suit your abilities.

Afternoons will be free for you to relax or explore the area. Above all it will be a friendly holiday and everyone will be found a suitable partner.
